Uses for Odd Size Pallets

Standard pallets work for a lot of freight, but plenty of products don't fit a 48x40 footprint. Odd-size pallets exist for exactly that reason.
Transportation
Specialty freight often needs a specialty pallet. A 48x48 drum pallet works well for liquids, a 36x36 beverage pallet for smaller cases. Sizing the pallet to the load improves stability, protects the product, and uses trailer space more efficiently.
Exterior DIY Projects
Odd-size pallets are also perfect for outdoor builds — raised garden beds, planter walls, deck furniture, and storage. The unusual dimensions often work better than standard pallets for projects with non-rectangular layouts.
