Back-to-School DIY Pallet Activities

Written by TC Pallet

Back-to-school season hits every family differently — whether it's a first day of kindergarten or a move into a college dorm. Either way, pallets are a thrifty, eco-friendly way to build the things you need.

For the Younger Ones

A pallet picnic table with a built-in sandbox or toy chest is a fun weekend build. Break down the pallets, assemble the table, and add a hinged top to double as storage or play space.

For the Older Kids

  • Dorm-ready bookshelves and desks built from sturdy stringer pallets.
  • Wall-mounted organizers and key racks.
  • Bunk-bed bases, headboards, and nightstands.
  • Chalkboards and corkboards for study spaces.

Pallet upcycling is good for the environment and great for spending time together. If you need pallets to get started, TCP has plenty of recycled stock available — call us at (330) 848-0313.
